RanksTel এর Modem Setup করা

যারা আমার মত RanksTel এর Dial Up Internet ব্যবহার করতে চান । তাদের জন্য এই প্রয়াস।

DS mode setting on Phone Set

1. Press ``**1005`` + [END_KEY] respectively (When you want to make Internet connection any time Please press this first in Phone set).
2. Press Phone`` Menu`` then presses 7 to go Data Service Setting then Press 2 and then Select ``Hardware`` then Press Ok.

Modem Installation

1. Click ``Start`` and then click ``Control Panel`` Double-click``Phone and Modem Options``.
2. Click ``Add`` Check the box, next to where it says, ``Don’t detect my modem, I will select it from a list `` and then click ``Next``.
3. Select ``Standard Modem Types`` under a manufacturer and select ``Standard 33600bps Modem`` under Models columns. Click ``Next``..
4. Select a proper ``serial port`` Or ``com port`` in your computer and click ``Next``.
5. Click Finish when a message appears that says ``Your modem has been set up successfully.``
6. Select ``33600 bps Modem`` then Click ``Properties``.
7. Click ``Modem`` and then select ``Maximum Port Speed = 115,200 bps``
8. Click ``Advance`` then write at+crm=1 in the initializing commands box.
9. Select ``Diagnostics`` and then click ``Query Modem`` for Test Connection between PC and Phone. If connection is Ok then it shows a window which first column is shown ``success``
10. Press Ok and out from Modem properties.

Setting a Dial-Up Networking

1. Double-click [Control Panel] -> Double-click [Network Connections] -> Click [view network connects]->Click [Create a new connection] then Click ``Next``
2. Check first radio button and Click ``Next``.
3. Check ``second radio button`` and Click ``Next``.
4. Check ``first radio button`` and Click ``Next``.
5. Write ISP name`` RanksTel`` and Click ``Next``
6. Enter ``the telephone number``, the designated number of your operator or ISP (ex #777). Click Next.
7. Enter ``User Name and Password`` for Prepaid Search Package: ``rankstel1`` and for Window Package: ``rankstelw`` and For all Post-Paid Package: rankstel then Click ``Next``..
8. Select ``Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop`` then Click Finish .
