Internet Explorer title পরিবর্তন

মাইক্রোসফটের ওয়েব ব্রাউজার ইন্টারনেট এক্সপ্লোরার খুললে পেজের টাইটেলের ডান পাশে এক্সপ্লোরারের title Microsoft Internet Explorer দেখায়। চাইলে সহজেই registry editor থেকে এই টাইটেল পরিবর্তন করা যায়। এজন্যে registry editor (run গিয়ে regedit লিখে ok)

এরপর HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main এ যেতে হবে। এবার নতুন একটি String Value (Edit > New > String Value) নিয়ে এর নাম দিতে হবে Window Title| এবার Window Title খুলে (দুইবার click করে) Value Date অংশে (Bappy’s Internet Explorer) বা পছন্দের নাম দিয়ে ok। এবার ইন্টারনেট এক্সপ্লোরার খুলে টাইটেল পরির্বতন লক্ষ্য করে দেখ।

ওয়ার্ডে শর্টকাট কী পরিবর্তন

মাইক্রোসফট ওয়ার্ডে বিভিন্ন কমান্ডের জন্য বিভিন্ন শর্টকাট কী অ্যাসাইন করা হয়। যেমন নতুন ফাইল ওপেন করার জন্য Ctrl + O, ডকুমেন্ট সেভ করার জন্য Ctrl + S, ডকুমেন্ট প্রিন্ট করার জন্য Ctrl + P ইত্যাদি। ডিফল্ট ভাবে দেওয়া এই শর্টকাট কী গুলো পরিবর্তন করা যায় অথবা কোন কমান্ডের জন্য নতুন কোন শর্টকাট কী এসাইন ও করা যায়।

অনেক সময় একটা ডকুমেন্ট টাইপ করার সময় বিভিন্ন অংশে বিভিন্ন লিপি বা ফন্ট বারবার ব্যবহার করতে হচ্ছে। এখন যদি টাইপ করার সময়ই যথাযথ ফন্ট ব্যবহার করতে চাই, তাহলে বারবার ফন্ট সিলেক্ট করতে হবে, যা কিছুটা বিরক্তিকর মনে হতে পারে। এক্ষেত্রে এই ফন্টের জন্য শর্টকাট কী নির্ধারণ করা যায়, তাহলে মাউজ না ধরে শুধু শর্টকাট কী প্রেস করেই ফন্ট পরিবর্তন করা যাবে। ফলে অনেক পরিশ্রম বেঁচে যাবে।

মনে করি, Signature ফন্টের জন্য Ctrl + Alt + B , Arial ফন্টের জন্য Ctrl + Alt + A এবং আপনা Arabic Transparent ফন্টের জন্য Ctrl + Alt + P শর্টকাট কী গুলো নির্ধারণ করতে চাই। এজন্য প্রথমে Tools মেনু থেকে Customize আইটেমে ক্লিক করতে হবে। প্রাপ্ত কাস্টোমাইজ ডায়ালগ বক্সে থেকে Keyboard >Categories>Font সিলেক্ট করতে হবে। এরফলে পাশের Fonts লিস্টবক্সে কম্পিউটারে ইনস্টল করা সবগুলো ফন্টের তালিকা দেখা যাবে। এখান থেকে Signature সিলেক্ট করতে হবে। এবার Press new shortcut key টেক্সট বক্সে কার্সর রেখে Ctrl + Alt + B প্রেস করে Assign বাটনে ক্লিক করতে হবে। একই ভাবে অন্য দুটি ফন্টের জন্যও শর্টকাট কী অ্যাসাইন করে Close বাটনে ক্লিক করে মূল ওয়ার্ড উইন্ডোতে ফিরে আসতে হবে।

এবার Ctrl + Alt + B ক্লিক করে কোনকিছু টাইপ করলে দেখা যাবে তা Signature ফন্টে টাইপ হচ্ছে। এবার টাইপ করা অংশটি সিলেক্ট করে Ctrl + Alt + A প্রেস করলে তা Arial ফন্টে প্রদর্শিত হচ্ছে। আবার Ctrl + Alt + P প্রেস করলে তা Arabic Transparent হয়ে গেছে। এই একই পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করে ওয়ার্ডের ডিফল্ট শর্টকাট কী গুলোও পরিবর্তন করা যায় ।

প্রথম বছর

আর মাত্র ১ দিন পর ঈদ। আজ মনে পরে ১ বছর আগে এমনই এক ঈদের ছুটির পর আমি TigerIT Bangladesh Ltd. তে join করি। দিনটি ছিল ৩রা জানুয়ারী ২০০৭ রোজ বুধবার।

কি ভাবে যে ১ টি বছর কেটে গেল আমি বুঝতে পারি নাই। আমার জন্য আর্শিবাদ করবেন।

Hide & Show the control panel item

সাধারণত কন্ট্রোল প্যানেল থেকেই কম্পিউটারের বিভিন্ন সেটিংস পরিবর্তন করে থাকে। রেজিস্ট্রি এডিটরে গিয়ে কন্ট্রোল প্যানেলের বিভিন্ন আইটেমের উপর নিয়ন্ত্রণ প্রতিষ্ঠা করা যায়। ইচ্ছেমতো কন্ট্রোল প্যানেলের বিভিন্ন আইটেমকে লুকিয়ে রাখার ব্যবস্থা করা যায়। যেমন কম্পিউটারের ল্যাঙ্গুয়েজ সেটিংসকে নিরাপদ রাখতে চাইলে মানে কন্ট্রোল প্যানেলে Regional and Language Options আইটেমটাই আর প্রদর্শিত হবে না।

প্রথমে Start > Run এ গিয়ে REGEDIT টাইপ করে এন্টার দিয়ে রেজিস্ট্রি এডিটর ওপেন করুন। এবার রেজিস্ট্রি এডিটর থেকে HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\don't load যেতে হবে। এখানে ডান পার্শ্বস্থ প্যানেলে intl.cpl নামে নতুন একটি স্ট্রিং তৈরি করে এর ভ্যালু হিসেবে No লিথতে হবে। এবার এডিটর বন্ধ করে এসে কন্ট্রোল প্যানেল রিফ্রেশ করলে দেখা যাবে Regional and Language Options আইটেমটি আর দেখা যাচ্ছে না।

এই পদ্ধতি ব্যবহার করে আমরা অন্যান্য আইটেমগুলোকেও নিয়ন্ত্রণ করতে পারেন। অন্যান্য আইটেমের জন্য নিম্নলিখিত নামগুলো ব্যবহার করতে হবে :

একবার লুকানোর পর যদি আবার কখনো কোন আইটেম প্রদর্শন করতে হয়, তাহলে স্ট্রিংটার ভ্যালু পরিবর্তন করে Yes লিখে দিলেই হবে। এতে যদি কাজ না হয়, তাহলে স্ট্রিংটা ডিলিট করে দিতে হবে।

এই পদ্ধতিটা মূলত উইন্ডোজ NT/2000/XP এর জন্য। যদি উইন্ডোজ 95/98/ME হয় তবে তার সম্ভাবনা খুবই কম, এর জন্য আরও সহজ পদ্ধতি আছে। C:\WINDOWS এ গিয়ে CONTROL.INI ফাইলটা ওপেন করে এর [don't load] লাইনটির নিচে প্রতিটা আইটেমের জন্য item.cpl=no লিথলে হবে। (উদা: access.cpl=no). যদি [don't load] লেখা না থাকে, তবে সেটা নিজেই লিখে নিতে হবে।

ওয়ার্ডের ডিফল্ট ডিকশনারিট

মাইক্রোসফট ওয়ার্ডের ডিফল্ট ডিকশনারিটা আমেরিকান বা বৃটিশদের জন্য যতটা উপকারী, বাংলাদেশীদের জন্য ততটা নয়। ব্যাপারটা বুঝা যাবে আপনার নাম-ঠিকানা লেখার সময়। কার নাম যদি বিখ্যাত বা কুখ্যাত কোন নাম না হয়ে থাকে, তাহলে শতকরা নিরানব্বই ভাগ সম্ভাবনা যে, ওয়ার্ড সে লেখার নিচে একটা লাল দাগ বসিয়ে দিবে। অবশ্য খুব সহজেই ভুল বানানটার উপর রাইট ক্লিক করে সেখান থেকে Add to Dictionary সিলেক্ট করে বানানটাকে ওয়ার্ডের ডিকশনারিতে যুক্ত করা যায় । কিন্তু এটাতো শুধু একটামাত্র পিসিতে। ইচ্ছে করলেই যেকোন মুহূর্তে অন্য PC তে সংযুক্ত সবগুলো শব্দের তালিকা দেখতে এবং সেই তালিকা অন্য যেকোন কম্পিউটারে ব্যবহার করে আগের কম্পিউটারের মতো একই সুযোগ পাওয়া যেতে পারে।

আমরা যখন কোন নতুন শব্দ ওয়ার্ডের ডিকশনারিতে যুক্ত করি, তখন সেটা কাস্টম ডিকশনারি নামে একটা ফাইলে সংরক্ষিত হয়। এই ফাইলটি সাধারণত নিম্নোক্ত ঠিকানায় থাকে : C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Microsoft\Proof\CUSTOM.DIC। এখানে user হল আমার ইউজার নেম। ইউজার নেম ব্যবহার করতে হবে। এখন যেকেও যদি কম্পিউটার পরিবর্তন করেও পূর্বের কম্পিউটারে যোগকৃত শব্দগুলোকে নতুন কম্পিউটারের ডিকশনারিতে যুক্ত দেখতে চায়, তাহলে প্রথম কম্পিউটার থেকে উক্ত ফাইলটি কপি করে দ্বিতীয় কম্পিউটারে নিয়ে সেখানে অবস্থিত ফাইলটিকে রিপ্লেস করে দিলেই হলো।

একাধিক Text ফাইলকে একটা ফাইলে রুপান্তর করা

ধরুন Dhaka.txt, Faridpur.txt ও Khulna.txt নামে কয়েটি টেক্সট ফাইল আছে। এই ফাইলগুলির সব তথ্য Bangladesh.txt নামে একটা ফাইলে লিথতে হবে। এজন্য Start Menu–>Run এ cmd ডস প্রম্পট রান হবে। যেখানে বা যে Folder এ ফাইলগুলি আছে সেই লোকেশনে যাতে হবে।

copy/b Dhaka.txt+ Faridpur.txt +Khulna.txt Bangladesh.txt
অথবা,
copy/b *.txt Bangladesh.txt (তবে এই ক্ষেত্রে ফোল্ডারটিতে উল্লেখিত ফাইলগুলি ছাড়াও যদি অন্য টেক্সট ফাইল থাকে তা ও এক হয়ে যাবে।)

ড্রাইভের আইকন পরিবর্তন

মাই কম্পিউটারের কোন ড্রইভের আইকন সাধারনত পরিবর্তন করা যায় না। কিন্তূ খুব সহজেই যে কোন ড্রাইভের আইকন পরিবর্তন করা যায়

১. যে ড্রইভের আইকন পরিবর্তন করবেন সেই ড্রইভে একটি আইকন ফাইল open করতে হবে । (ধরি আইকন ফাইলটির নাম Test.ico)
২.এখন Notepad খুলে লিখতে হবে
[Autorun]
icon=Rita.ico
৩. এখন যে ড্রইভের আইকন পরিবর্তন করবো সেই ড্রাইভে Autorun.inf নামে Notepad এর ফাইলটি সেভ করি।

কম্পিউটার Restart দিই।

আজ ২ দিন যাবত একটা লেপটোপ কাজ করতে হলো। HP Pavilion DV6500T এতে Windows
Vista install করা ছিল কিন্তু যে কারনেই হোক এতে Windows XP install করতে হয়।
বিপদ ঘটলো যখন এর driver গুলো পাচ্ছিল না।

ধন্যবাদ http://www.nogodforme.com/HPDV6500T.htm কারন এই সাইট না থাকলে
কি ভাবে যে driver install করতাম জানি না।

একটা মজার টিপস............

ডেস্কটপে বা অন্য কোন ফোল্ডারে কন্ট্রোল প্যানেল বা এ জাতীয় বিশেষ বিশেষ ফোল্ডার তৈরি করা মোটেই কোন কঠিন ব্যাপার না। শুধু সাধারণ একটা ফোল্ডার তৈরি করে তাকে বিশেষ একটা নামে রিনেম করে দিলেই হবে। মজার ব্যাপার হচ্ছে, এভাবে যে বিশেষ ফোল্ডারটি আপনি তৈরি করবেন, তার আইকনে কোন শরর্টকাট অ্যারো থাকবে না। সেটা দেখতে হুবহু মূল ফোল্ডারটার মতোই হবে।

মনে করুন আপনি আপনার ডেস্কটপে কন্ট্রোল প্যানেল তৈরি করতে চাচ্ছেন। তাহলে প্রথমে সেখানে একটা নতুন ফোল্ডার তৈরি করে সেটার নাম দিন ।নিচে কয়েকটি বিশেষ ফোল্ডারের জন্য কি নাম লিখতে হবে তা দেওয়া হল -

এক্সপি টিপস

ডেস্কটপ আইকন ট্রান্সপারেন্ট করুন:

১) কন্ট্রোল প্যানেল ওপেন করুন
২) সিস্টেম অপশনে গিয়ে এডভান্স ট্যাবে ক্লিক করুন
৩) পারফরমেন্স এরিয়াতে গিয়ে সেটিংস বাটনে ক্লিক করুন
৪) ওখান থেকে সিলেক্ট করুন,

'Use drop shadows for icon labels on the Desktop'

৫) ওকে করে বের হয়ে আসুন

স্টার্ট মেনু আরো ফাস্ট করে নিন:

১) স্টার্ট মেনুতে ক্লিক করে রান এ গিয়ে টাইপ করুন regedit, তারপর ওকে করুন। রেজি:
এডিটর ওপেন হবে
২) রেজি: এডিটরে ব্রাউজ করুন, HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Desktop/MenuShowDelay
৩) মেনু শো ডিলে সাধারনত ৪০০ থাকে। ওটিকে কমিয়ে ০ করে দিন (আরেকটু বেশীও দিতে পারেন)।
৪) রেজি: এডিটর ক্লোজ করুন।

অনেক দিন পর..........

আজ অনেক দিন পর কিছু লিথতে বসেছি। কিন্তু কি লিথব বুঝতে পারছি না।
তারপরেও কিছু লিথতে মন চাচ্ছে। আজ Home View Bangladesh এর নতুন
অফিসে যেতে হবে। আমার একটা সমস্যা হচ্ছে আমি নিজ অফিস ছাড়া অন্য
কোথাও কাজ করতে পচ্ছন্দ করি না। তারপরেও যেতে হবে..........................

আসার পর কি হয় যানিনা। তাই এসে বাকি কথা লিথবো।

Today I am so happy that my mind wants to write some thing in my web log.
At first I remember my boss (MAK sir) Mahay Alam Khan who inspirer me
to wrote a web base log. He always advice what shout I do. 

From the childhood I have ability. If I saw any thing I can create the same thing

Hide any Drive from my computer

You can easily hide any drive from my computer. At first you would go to group policy.
The step is…………..

• start>run then type
• gpedit.msc>ok
• User Configuration>Administrative Templates>Windows Components>Windows Explorer
• Hide these specified drives in my computer # right click
• (o) Enabled
• Up and Down which drive you want to hide
• Ok

Open My Computer and show your drive is hidden

First time of St. Martin

It was the first time for me of St. Martin and Cox’s Bazaar. We start
our journey from 8th November to 12th November. I was very exciting.
At 10 P.M our bus starts from Dhaka. The bus was port 9th November
at 8 A.M on Teknaf and then we go to St. Martin by Kerry Sinbad.
We reached St. Martin at 11 A.M 

The next day we went to Chchera deep. We wanted to go Chchera deep
by boat but the weather was so bad that nobody want to go.
Then we went Chchera deep by foot and back the same way. In the
evening we bath on the Sea. At the night we arranged a Bar-B-Q
party. It was the last night of the St. Martin.  

The 11th November start from St. Martin to Teknaf thru Sea Truck
and arrived the bus for back to Dhaka. But unfortunately when
we reached Cox’s Bazaar our maximum member and I was feel
uncomfortable on the bus. So we decide to stay this night
in Cox’s Bazaar.

The last day 12th November I and Jamil bhai stay some time on
sea beach and brought some thing. At 12 P.M we arrived the
Shohag Volvo bus for the way of Dhaka. The bus reached the
Dhaka at 10 P.M.

Thus way we close our tour.......................................

Windows Tips and Tricks

1. Stop unexpected web site from your client PC.
A. Open C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
B.  Write 127.0.0.1       www.xyz.com
C.  Save and exit.
D. Open Browser and type www.xyz.com it is not open.  

2. Change the computer name
A. Start > Run > regedit > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >
System > CurrentControlset > Computer Name >
Active Computer Name       
B. Then right click your previous computer
name and type new name. 

3. Check the Bad Sector  
A. Start > Run > cmd > chkdsk 

Block any web site in windows XP

You can use the Windows 'Hosts' file to accomplish this, here's how:

In Windows XP, the hosts file is found here:

Double click the 'Hosts' file and select "Notepad" or “TextPad”
from the list of programs to open it with.Once you have the
hosts file open in Notepad, you will see an entry such as:

To block a certain web page from loading, add the following:

Your Hosts file will now look like this:

Once you are finished, go up to 'File' and click 'Save'.

Changing MAC addresses

Please note that physical MAC addresses are permanent, but several mechanisms allow modification (read as spoofing) of the MAC address that is reported by the operating system.

Under Linux you can type the command to setup a new MAC address:
# ifconfig eth0 down
# ifconfig eth0 hw ether 01:02:03:04:05:06

Under FreeBSD type the command:
# ifconfig nc0 ether 01:02:03:04:05:06

Under OpenBSD or Mac OS X type the command:
# ifconfig nc0 lladdr 01:02:03:04:05:06

Under Windows 2003/XP:
Under Windows XP or 2003 server the MAC address can be changed in the Ethernet adapter’s Properties Menu > Advanced Tab > Look for MAC Address > Locally Administered Address > Ethernet Address > Physical Address option.

For a Passport

I got my Passport the privies Sunday 30^th September. What I do for a passport I write here. At first I go to my village and collect the passport form, chairman certificate, birth certificate. I attach my photograph by our chairman. I put the passport form in our local passport office with birth & chairman certificate. After 4 days the police of our police station was came our village home and collect right information. Thus I was not present there so the police say to meet me with him.

I mate with him and police ask some question. They send the inquiry result the next day. The official date of get the passport was 30^th September. I went my village and collect my passport. When I get the passport I was very happy. It was like a great achievement for me because if I not get the passport on the fixed day it was impossible to go next time.

A death of hope…………………

Tomorrow was a sorrow day for me. I got a change to go Singapore for a nice job. This change I got from two my relative (??????). “BASIS Software Exhibition’05” এর গাইঠ বই ছিল। সেখান থেকে সংগ্রহ করা। বড়মগবাজার এ অফিস। আসলাম মগবাজার মজার ব্যপার হলো যাকে অফিসের নাম দেখাই কেও তা বলতে পারে না। অনেক খুজা খুজা করে পেলাম।

তখন জানতাম না যে শনিবার ও রবিরাব অফিস বদ্ধ থাকে। ভুল করে রবিবার চলে এসেছি। অফিসে এসে পেয়ে গেলাম সুজন ভাই কে। আমি যখন আসি তখন বাইরে হালকা বৃষ্টি ছিলো। কিছুটা ভিজে অফিসে ঠুকলাম। সুজন ভাই এর সাথে কথা বলে সেদিনের মত চলে গিয়েছেলাম।

Sprit Money

I used the “Sprit Money” on the last 10^th September. “Sprit Money” in (bangle Ghush) this was the first of my life. The “Police” of our Police Station went our village home to Verify. I live in Dhaka so the police couldn’t meet with me. Police phone me and said to meet with him.

When I went to the Police Station the police say “I went your home but you were not there”. He also says “he went our home by Motorcycle”. He demands to me TK.500 for the whole function. I know it was wrong. He has no any right to want money from any person but I couldn’t say “NO” to him.

Apply for passport

I am a Bangladeshi citizen. I have to right to go abroad so I need a passport. Hear I say what happened when apply for passport.

I didn’t know what is the new process of fill up the “passport form” and put the office.

In the passport form you can see hare is two type of address one is permanent and second is present. So what you write in this address box. My permanent address is in Faridpur and the present address in Dhaka. I wrote the true address but the passport officer says it is not correct. I asked him why? He says “you can’t use two type addresses”.

Here is my question if I can’t use the present address why it stays in the form?

Microsoft Error Reporting in WinXP

Some time we see this box when use Microsoft Windows XP. It is a disgusting to somebody like me. Easily you can shoot it.

The solution is …………………………

1. Simultaneously press the Windows logo key and your Pause key. This is a shortcut to opening System Properties.

2. Click the Advanced tab

3. Click the Error Reporting button toward the bottom.

4. In the Error Reporting dialog, select the radio button for your options.

5. Then you do this like image. At last click OK.
